I'm going to get you! by tara11

I'm going to get you!

So, I spent awhile in my front yard looking for some birds or butterflies to take photograph. I saw a double winged dragon fly that was pretty cool - blurry; a cute brown and orange moth - blurry; a beautiful red cardinal - too dark in the shade. I head in to see what I've captured and see this little bee on my way in - take one shot - and he's the only thing that came out in focus. Oh well . . . he looks like he's eyeing the flowers in the background.
AWESOME!

Great shot, it is so hard to photograph tiny creatures they so are so quick and do not understand that they have to stay put for a time so we can take their photos!

Oh WOW! This is great! It took me FOREVER of shooting photos/trying to get a good bumblebee pic! And the dof is so great with the holly blossoms back there. And his wings. Of course, I had to fav this one to see it again. I love the bug pics. And, when I am off school, I can come over and we can play with our cameras...I will show you anything I have learned about how to focus when not on automatic....you will have more focused pics and fewer blurry ones. Automatic focus is hard to get the right thing focused for this type shot. Anyway.....great pic!

@beachradish Thanks - I have to laugh though because I tried to photograph a double winged dragon fly for about 20 minutes and I had given up and was going inside to see if I had anything. I saw this guy and took 1 shot!
