I was so excited to see the hawk again and on a beautiful day. He gave me a lot of time to fiddle with settings and move around. I really appreciate the opportunity to experiment and I'm so thankful that I I'll be able to see my settings once I upload :)
Note to self: don't take close to 400 shots unless you want to obsess ALL day about which shot to post . . .
Oh ... I think that he's getting to know you and is going to pose for you! This is beautiful ...and, I take that many shots when I'm doing (or trying to do) a shot like this. :)
@karenann Thanks so much Karenann - what a task! I feel like I've been looking at him ALL day. That is very labor intensive. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one. I kind of felt compelled to stay and take shots as long as he was still there. I couldn't leave plus I really wanted a shot of him in flight. Near the end though, I was getting boldy closer hoping that he'd fly away!
@cheribug Thank you for the fav Cheryl! He was so cooperative; sat there for about 45 minutes. I hope to get better so that I don't have to sit there for 45 minutes trying to get the perfect shot :) I have a 300 mm lens which really helps!
