I was finally in a position to capture some hawks in flight, however, the best ones were the silhouettes. I liked this one, so went with it.
We spent the day in south Georgia shooting guns (at inanimate objects). My husband's co-worker has property and a shooting range and invited us down for the day. It was a lot of fun and of course my boys loved it! I shot a 357 Python, a 9mm Smith and Wesson and a 22 magnum revolver :)
Terrific shot, Tara! It isn't easy to get a good shot of a bird and flight and you rocked this one!

@grammyn Yea, didn't think that this could be a touchy subject. I still won't have one in my house, but to go out in a controlled environment and have some fun, that's OK with me. Ironically, my husband bought the wrong ammunition to take with us and had to return it. He was gone for an hour - it took that long with all the paperwork, etc.
