My thoughts and prayers are with you. In the meantime, I think you have captured a very good sense of the wait and the pager carries with it a great sense of responsibility. And the empty chairs--well, imagine we are actually sitting in them to be with you. :)
@darylo Aww, your sweet comment gave me chills and tears. Thank you Daryl. He should be able to go home soon. The surgeon said that a hospital is no place for an 83 year old man - comforting.
your photo says it well. goodness @darylo 's very sweet words choked me up too. so sorry to hear and praying he has complete recovery. Not a fun thing to do for sure, and nice they recognize the best place to be is HOME!
FAbulous shot that shows the tension of being able to do nothing but wait. You take care of family while we all pray for a speedy recovery for your dad.
@darylo Finally! I got home around 5:30. He's at home (10 mins away) doing well. He's alert and doing well - hungry mainly :). Here's hoping that this takes care of the infection. Thanks for your prayers and for checking in.
Hi there! Came to see your pics, but no more posted yet. You must be like me. Either busy with work, or busy with fun. I cannot complain about yesterday's busy. Laurie, Davis, and Erin came up to swim and cook out..... It was fun. Mark was sick at home. They had not been up here in four years. So it was a nice family event.
@espyetta Sounds like fun at the lake! I'm just busy :( Dad is doing great though. The next step is that we hope his PSA goes down now that they infected stone has been removed.
