Such an amazing place to set up for the night. Arckaringa Station is a working cattle station situated 140km from Coober Pedy, 80km from Cadney, and 100km from Oodnadatta, and just down the road from Painted Hills. God knows what their cattle eat cause I couldn't see much feed for them. It was a lovely starry night and a nice campfire for warmth. The two station dogs slept on our camp chairs overnight near the fire for warmth. Bit of a treat for them I think.
@pusspup This is the first big trip we have done with it and it’s great. So easy to set up and pack up. Bed is comfy with spring mattress. Lots of annex/shade options although we didn’t use any the whole trip as it just wasn’t needed. A few nights we slept in it without dropping the canvas at all, just an insect screen over the opening. They are robust and follow the vehicle easily. Some smart design & storage ideas too. We’ve had ours for a year now, tweaking things as we learn what suits us and our way of camping.
