Older Macro Flash fun

I need to go out with a macro/flash again. It is extremely different and a blast!

This is beautiful. Do you use a diffuser when also using the flash?

@kgolab the macro I used has white plastic over the LEDs, so there is some diffusing, but no I wasn't useing a diffuser for this shot.

Ive been out taking pics of lichen too, this week. Although I've just noticed the date you actually took this. Been a long time between macro lichen shots?

@yorkshirekiwi this weekend was a failed trip involving a rattlesnake, pouring rain, a failed waterproof coat, filter fog and a thunderstorm.

I am trying to get user to Adobe products, so if a trip fails I go back, weed out the photo library, and try to find something interesting that I missed back in the day.


I am still learning how to get decent desert shots.

@jernst1779 It is a blast, though you look strange with a ring flash on your camera walking around.
