Since it is pitch black by 4PM now a days, I decide it was a great time to try out the wireless remote. Protip: don't be like me and try to figure it out in the cold dark then come back home to find out you were doing it wrong.
I like the light stars your lens creates. Very colorful shot, that is great. It the foreground ice or still water? It has a lot of strucutre (what I like), so I wonder if it was very windy or it is just ice :D
@0x53 thanks, the tokina 11-20 is difficult to focus with the clutch, but a really nice performing lens for a crop sensor. The water wasn't frozen, the texture comes from 2-4 inch waves that were driven by the wind. I wasn't sure i liked the effect since it seemed busy, but it was below freezing and breezy, so I called it an evening early.
