I think this guy was stunned or possibly dead, but at least he stayed still for me to shoot. I keep attempting quasi macro shots with my kit 18-55 mm lens, and sometimes they're alright......
I used my kit lens for years to do close-ups and they work well. It just requires you to get a little closer. Of course with a bee, it's better to keep a distance! Good shot!
@joysabin I have heard of these, and know they are an economical version of a macro lens.. As I get deeper into this photographic journey, and I am learning so much from this community and other websites, I shall pursue more avenues. Thank you for your peek, comments and advice, much appreciated.
