Central Virginia received a ton of rain today. There was no storm, just lots and lots and lots of rain. At our house our rain gauge filled up - 5 inches / 12cm - in about 5 hours. The Richmond Airport got 11 inches (27cm) in the same amount of time.
We had to run some errands and had to take several detours because of flooded roads. This used car lot isn't normally all that close to Procter's Creek, but today they share the same space.
My get-pushed challenge for you is to shoot a "roll of BW film" pretending that you have an old all-manual camera. Choose one ISO and leave it there. Set aperture, shutter speed, and focus manually. Decide whether you are going to shoot a roll of 12, 24, or 36 exposures. Go somewhere and shoot your roll of film. Try to resist looking at the LCD monitor to check your images.

@joysabin@annepann@dutchothotmailcom@danette@bkbinthecity@ggshearron@sdutoit Thanks for your comments and concerns. We are OK and suffered no damage. About 150 homes a couple of miles away from us had to be evacuated, and people are being asked to, of all things, conserve water because two water filtration and pumping stations were damaged by flooding. But the sun is shining today and all that water is slowly making its way to the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean.
