We went to see the sunset today and were not disappointed. The sun was setting behind a weather front moving in. Just as I got out of my truck and raised the camera to my eye, this crow* flew through the frame. It was the best shot of the dozen or so that I took.
*It's probably a crow, although at this distance, A) it's not possible to tell if it's an American crow or a fish crow, B) it may not be a crow at all - it might be a vulture (and similarly, it's not possible to tell if it's a black vulture or turkey vulture). Given its speed, I'm leaning towards crow. But I can say with absolute, 100% certainty that it's a bird and bigger than a finch.
EDIT: I was out and about today (October 2) and saw both crows and vultures flying. This is a vulture.
