Cut-Through to the Atlantic

This is where the Dune Trail at Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge cuts through the dunes to the Atlantic Ocean beach.

Great shot. The beaches and dunes on the East Coast are distinctly different from our West Coast beaches. We don't have much in the way of dunes or plant life near our beaches.
