The Missus (and the dogs and cat) bought me a new long lens for my upcoming birthday so I took it out to Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge to try it out.
I came across this great blue heron. It was looking for an early dinner as a winter storm was approaching.
Once it decided it wasn't going to find any food where it was it decided to hunker down with its back to the increasingly cold winds from the north.
BTW, if there was a hidden dragon, it was...well, it was hidden so well that I never saw it.
