Never again will I see blackbirds as plain old black! I always saw the iridescent blues, around the head and the neck, and the yellow eyes. But not
the raindow of lustrous colors on the wings and under belly! The sunlight must have been just so to catch these feathers of many colors. I will always look deeper now at blackbirds.
