Spent Saturday Afternoon at Minnehaha Park,(located in Minneapolis, Minnesota)
looking at Minnehaha Falls, eating fish tacos,
and hiking. This is a view looking upstream
from where Minnehaha creek joins the Mississippi River. Lock and Dam no 1, or the Ford Dam was orginally built in 1917. Has two locks. Even though it was a bit overcast there
were people in a boat fishing near the dam and lock. The Mississippi starts at Lake Itasca Minnesota and flows some 2,530 miles or 4,070 km untill it reaches the Gulf of Mexico at New Orleans. It has mystery, history and power.
