Wood Ducks by tosee

Wood Ducks

My first HDR. Had to crop since ducks in foreground would not stay still for bracketing .
I admired the HDR work of Taffy R so went a got photomatix. First attempt
Super colours, reflections, and ripples! +fav

Nice choice for an HDR shot - like the ripples and reflections and those gorgeous ducks.

A super first attempt. Clear tonalities. I would be interested, if you are willing, to read your thoughts on your new processing toy.

Wow, Tom, the reflections in the river are spectacular! You did really well with HDR in keeping it natural looking which can be challenging. You made strong strategic decisions and ended up with a lovely shot. As @rosiekerr said, share your thoughts here if you'd like any feedback or input on your next one. You are off to a good start!

@rosiekerr @taffy The photomatix software seems amazingly easy to use for hdr with a great deal of developmental flexibleness . I have also used some development on single photos I had taken before. I think it is
a really exciting piece of software so thanks Taffy for posting what you used or I would have never gotten into HDR and photomatix
