This is a huge fireplace in the Lodge's great room.
The lodge is one of the oldest large log structures on the North Shore. You can get an idea of how big the fireplace is by looking at the size of the average split logs. They do not come close to spanning the distance between the end irons and the log supports. It draws beautifully and really warms the room.
