Peonies and Ants

seem to go together. I have heard that ants help the peony buds open, now I have heard, this is not true; that the ants are just after the sweet secretions . I wonder, and prefer to think of a beautiful symbiotic relationship. Shot with an old manual 35mm f/1.8 lens non macro
