In the Street

As we were walking Pam spotted this little baby bunny in the street, it was turned sideways to us, and we stopped to take photos as we pondered what to do ! Should we pick it up and bring it home and how would our cat react? Should we pick it up and put it in the grass? Where was it's home, and mother? Would the mother abandon it if it smelled are scent?" At that point it turned looked straight at me and headed towards me, and just as I was leaning down to either get a better pov or to pick it up, not sure which, it turned and calmly went into the grass by the tree! I worried about it, and still wonder if it made it and is alive! Truly a street shot sooc straight from camera.

It's a dilemma knowing what to do with lost or injured wild creatures... glad this situation resolved itself.

I'm sure it's fine, rabbits can shift when they want to.
