Looking Towards Downtown

Went to the Guthrie Theater last night and in between acts I notice this very low and interesting window (came to just above the knees) got down and snapped this photo. It was intended for the view downtown, but I find the women walking and fire hydrant more interesting I love the functional and
interesting design of the Guthrie Building. Great views, curious windows, a bridge out over the street, the thrust stage etc. This week will be devoted to photos taken Sunday night at and from the Guthrie.

I like all the colors and rectangles that create the composition. The skyline has changed so much from the time I lived there for a year of grad school. Huge differences.

VML the sky, an interesting contrast with the varied interpretation of the geometrics for the buildings.

I like the sky. Hard to see the woman and fire hydrant because I'd have to pull my eyes away from the tall buildings and the fading light.
