A study in contrasts the modern urban hip renewal with the old urban scene. The Suburban World Theater, originally called the Granada, was constructed in 1927 and is on the historical preservation list. The World has not quite found it's place in the new moneyed chic urban renewal wave and has stood vacant the last 5 years. The new owners are hopeful of creating a viable live music and entertainment venue breathing new life into the old Granada
