My son lives in Oakland, and he says they are quite the nuisance there too. Great story telling ... love the bokeh.

They are looking at these scooters in Charlotte. I believe they have times when they are not allowed to be used. It would seem they at least night lights and safety vests for visibility.

Yes, these scooters are not really compatible with roads and fast moving vehicles. More dangerous than bikes, definitely.
