Located at mile 752.8 on the Mississippi River, Alma Wisconsin. The lock is 110 feet wide by
600 feet long; in the photo one can see nine
barges and the tug boat in the lock.
You have a much higher vantage point than I originally thought. It's a beautiful day with clear blue sky and calm water and autumn tones on the hillside.
