Seeds are saved from summer native plants, put into small packets with directions, and sold for $2. It's an effort to encourage growing native plants more than it is to raise money.
Love finding these type events. The spring garden sale at a local historic site offers, seeds, plants and handmade goods, like handmade brooms, lovely rugs and tapestries made on looms, blacksmithing, pottery, etc. Our food supply is so tainted it is good seeing people trying to preserve heirloom seeds.
