Late Afternoon Visitors

Just as the sun set I spotted these two little double-barred finches eating grass seeds along the fence. They were kind enough to wait while I grabbed my camera. They are only tiny little fellows - about 10cm in fact.

I had a little play with Picasa which I only downloaded yesterday...thought the fence was too distracting and softened the edges. What do you think?

Take a cut out of the birds and look for yourself you like the most.
