One of the activity choices available to the bushwalker's today (refer back to 1st May post) was a tour of the Historical Cottage in Ubobo.
The Cottage was once the residence for the railway station master/mistress. Each room in the tiny cottage has a themed collection of memorabilia recalling the early days of the Boyne Valley. This pretty pink doll greets visitors to the main bedroom which is hardly big enough for the single bed it displays. How did they raise the large families of yesteryear in such tiny little homes?
