Spider on Rosella Husk by ubobohobo

Spider on Rosella Husk

I am trying to make one last batch of rosella jam but don't know how it will go. The sap has stopped running and garden spiders have taken up residence inside the husks.
I prepared the fruit last night and left the waste, including spiders, in a dish for disposal this morning. This is what I noticed - the bigger spiders had eaten the smaller ones. View on magnify to see the remains of this one's dinner in front of him.
Great capture!

Wow, this is a great capture. And the red of the rosella husk makes a great contrast for the spider.

@robinwarner Sorry for the spider. I have a friend who feels the same.

I can remember Dad making Rosella jam when we where kids. The hairs on the fruit made your fingers itch if my memories are right.
