Willy Wagtail on Kangaroo

Four kangaroos were feeding on the sports ground. This is not the best shot but I was amused to see not one but two birds resting on the bigger Kangaroo. There is a willy wagtail on his back and a smaller bird on his front. I've never seen this before. I also like the straw of grass in his mouth. Given the mini theme I have taken over the last view uploads I thought I'd choose this for today.

They are cute the way they do this. They peck at the mites in the kangaroo's fur. I see them perching on the cattle like this, too. Very nice capture.

Haha I like the straw in his mouth also, nice catch. And what a neat relationship they seem to have with those birds!
