From his lofty perch the auctioneer calls all bidders to the rail to let the sale of cattle for today begin. We took two loads down yesterday; stayed overnight to celebrate my birthday with dinner at the Gin Gin Hotel (not quite bistro style but very pleasant) and then attended the sale today to watch them sold.
