a new breed of beef cattle introduced to the industry at Beef 2012. Originating in Saskatchewan, Canada, the Speckle Park cattle achieved pure bred status in Canada in 2006. Embryos and bulls were first imported into Australia in 2008 by Wattle Grove which now has a herd of 250 pure bred Speckle Park cattle. They brought a small selection up to Beef 2012 and caught the eye of many visitors - including me. I've fallen in love with their speckles!
