Wednesday's challenge is to "experiment with your photography". I'm all set up to capture the Transit of Venus but can only capture glimpses of the sun because of cloud cover. So when this dove upended itself into the birdbath I snapped it instead. The photo was "Blah" but with a dose of Picasa editing experiments I ended up with this.
Also thought the June word was "distance" and by the distance this bird had to reach I presumed I ought to be filling the bird bath. However the challenge word was direction. So maybe its the direction his tail is pointing that screams, "Water needed!"
I found myself at school with lots of Year 4s madly observing venus through out pinhole camera, but myself without an actual camera with which to capture the event. I wish I'd thought to throw in a welding helmet and the Canon....
....and when Mum told me she was following you, I immediately thought that you two have a lot in common - being retired Queensland teachers who own / grew up on farms.
