The unusual flowers of the slipper plant...in or out of focus? As a native of the Mexican Desert it is a heat tolerant, hardy plant that has become a popular succulent for our dry conditions.

@myautofocuslife Yes I think this probably is the same plant as you photographed...Its called the slipper plant or its botanical name is Pedilanthus macrocarpus or Euphorbia lomelii.
