A huge shiny, black and silver monster landed in my lap on Christmas Day. With almost as many buttons and flashing lights as Dr Who's Tardis, it was a dramatic improvement on my old pressure cooker which I'd used for the past forty years. "Have fun playing with this," the accompanying card read. So refreshed by my relaxing morning yesterday, I played in the afternoon and a delicious Thai curry made from Christmas left overs was the result. I'm thinking that monster tag will soon disappear. I've got a strong feeling that I'm falling in love with my new 5-in-1 Multi-Cooker.
