I could hardly be polite to the person on the other end of a phone call this afternoon. I could see this little fellow perched up on the pergola. But it was kind to me and waited until the call ended and I found the camera. So here is a sacred kingfisher to add to my collection of birds that visit my garden.
A beautiful shot. One used to come and sit on my hoist every year but I haven't seen it for a while - too many houses around now. You feel special when they visit.
