Had a very busy day yesterday and only have my daily koala shot to up load. But I do like this shot.It cuts out his sore eye and celebrates the fact that for the past two days we've been able to see him from our front verandah until he gets too hot. Then he has moved back up into the shade of the canopy.
@judithg The wild life carers have been and had a look at him and sent my photos of his eye away to koala specialists in Brisbane. He needs to be captured and taken away to Beerwah for treatment. But that is about 5-6 hours away. No koala handlers are near by and he is so high up in the trees. I think it has been put in the too hard basket Judith because I haven't heard from anyone for the past week.
@ubobohobo well you've tried your best! Some eye infections can be very tricky - my cat went astray for a few weeks one summer and got chlamydia in her eyes - it was a devil to treat, definitely one lot of drops was not going to cure it. Poor fellow - maybe nature will sort it out.
I can't imagine how fascinating it must be to have a koala visiting you on a daily basis! I'm only coming in in the middle of the conversation, but it looks to me that he's managing in spite of a bad eye, so nature seems to be taking care of itself. Of course if you are able to catch him for treatment that's good, but in the mean time he's surviving.
