A beautiful finish to a beautiful day. Today our CWA branch celebrated International Day - an annual event which draws to an end our study of another nation in the world. This year our country of study was Vietnam and we shared a lovely Vietnamese luncheon using recipes we had collated for the occasion and we were pleasantly surprised by our efforts. What a pity I was in such a rush that I left my camera at home. Thank goodness for this lovely sunset to make up for my earlier disappointment. Now we begin a study of the English Midlands where our ACWW (Associated Country Women of the World) conference will be held in 2015.
You very cleverly connected your beautiful sunset to the focus of your day. You have so many interesting activities you're involved in. To spend an entire year studying one country must make you quite the expert on the country.
@mbemis it is a feature of each monthly meeting to share a little item...News, info, recipe or food item, craft activity...we put together a scrapbook and of project book and always end with a display and luncheon. Good fun and always interesting.
Your photo and your narrative are equally fascinating. Do you plan to attend the conference next year? I wonder if there are chapters of the ACWW in the United States?
