Sunlight on Paperbark

Melaleuca or Paperbark trees line the Four Mile Creek which is now dry. They all looked so pretty with the last rays of sunlight filtering through their long pendulous branches. This baby has a lot of growing to do to match the grandeur of the mature trees around it
It's amazing how when the light is just right, it creates the perfect photo opportunity!

I'm with Jane. The light starts out so bright at the top and is gradually reduced to shadows at the bottom of the photo. Good capture.
