Our broad leaf bottletrees, Brachychiton australe, are filling the air with a gorgeous perfume at the moment. They are an unusual tree dropping their leaves in late winter then bursting into bloom before regenerating their leaves again. We have two in the cowyard and their perfume is wafting over to the house today. Beautiful.
Very nice. The play Carousel had a song entitled "June is Bustin' Out All over," singing the joys of spring. I guess you'd change it to October. Lovely picture.
