The end of a long hot day. This continued heat is sapping my energy. At least the sunset was pretty and Mopsy enjoyed the late afternoon walk. She came back quite pleased with her efforts having given herself an adrenaline boost by putting a stray cat up into the rafters of the old barn. She returned home with a very satisfied grin on her face.
This reminds me of the old play "The Rainmaker" where everything was wilting in the heat. Palpable, as they say. Gorgeous shot. Take heart, Margaret. As we're expecting warmer weather, you can look for the coming of August. January is half gone already.
Wonderful evening silhouette Margaret , it sort of looks like parchment paper......the heat can be very trying.....I think!! Not that we ate used to much heat!
