Gladstone - Harbour City

Gladstone was established because it was a natural harbour and this is still the base of our local economy. Here you can see the delightful foreshores always popular with Gladstonians, the man made marina for the yachting enthusiast, the gantry for one of the coal terminals and in the distance on the right, the flame of the new LNG plant burns as this brand new industry irons out its teething problems.
I looked up NLG and saw it is natural liquid gas. What a diverse economy in just one scene!

Seems like the seagulls have found a use for this area too! Good "slice of life" shot.

It all looks so idyllic, but there's so much going on. Enjoyed your description too.
