Had plenty of time for reflections yesterday. Drove my husband to his brother's property where he was to lend a hand with his tractor. I came back to this paddock where we had cattle to sort. I parked the ute and trapped the cattle with the straw dog, our cattle are easily tricked by hay, then jumped into the car to shut the gate. Nothing. Not even a clunk. The car had died. So all I could do was complete the job alone and then sit by the lake and reflect on life while I waited for my husband to finish his job and come tootling along on his tractor.
