I woke this morning and instead of disturbing hubbie who is supposed to be resting and recovering I quietly turned on my IPad and took a wander through my favourite bloggers. Amanda Salisbury (Bush Babe from Oz) is a wonderful photographer and story teller. I so enjoyed her blog 'Wattle the Weather Be" I just have to share the link. Check it out if time allows. http://bushbabeofoz.com/2015/05/25/wattle-the-weather-be/
My foggy autumn, well actually it is a foggy first-day-of-winter morning image is a white faced heron feeding amongst the cattle as they emerged from the fog. He was poised ready to stab anything they might disturb as they fed across the paddock.

He does look very focused!

Wonderful capture--working in tandem with the cattle! I enjoyed the blog post too.

I enjoy seeing the "other-world" birds on 365. We have Cattle Egrets which feed with the cattle, pecking the bugs from the disturbed mud around their feet. I imagine these fellows do the same thing. A very pretty heron.

A lovely capture of this beautiful bird -- and now I see that we both have edited our shot in the same way to enhance the subject .

Great image -- so clear, yet with the hint of fog surrounding it. Lovely processing.
