The highest peak in the background looking over the marina in Gladstone is Mount Larcom. The township at its base is called Mount Larcom. I travelled there yesterday to help the local bowls club celebrate its 60th birthday. What a lot of memories were share and what a wonderful day.
My Mum had a pen pal from Mt Larcom. They corresponded for years but I can't remember her name. Mum would be 99 this year but can't ask her as she died 4 years ago. All the things you wished you asked! Lovely framed shot. Postcard prefect!
