aug15words - Majestic. These two majestic hoop pines dominate the landscape in Ubobo. They have stood at the entrance to Ubobo State School for the past 69 years. They were donated to the community by the QCWA and planted by the school children in 1946 on the first anniversary of our Victory in the Pacific - the day Japan surrendered and WW2 came to an end.
