Gathering Our Daily Bread

We've finally had to admit we are "too old" for the rough and tumble of mustering a paddock of cattle and employed a local man with his team of dogs to do it for us. It was an awesome experience watching man, horse and dogs working in unison to round up the herd. L is an exponent of "horse whispering" and not only applies it to how he handles and trains his horses but to all the animals he works with. Amazing. Aud15words - Bread
Its good to have someone in to do these jobs - enables you to stay there. I'm surprised to see him on a horse - our guys always use either motorbikes or four wheelers!

Like a scene from the movies! I'm glad you've made this transition with grace. Broken bones at our age are life changers.

Great shot. Don't know much about ranching or whatever it's called.
