Thanks to all who admired my Union Jack and helped put it on the pp. Always a thrill. It is a very pretty butterfly and not very common so I was very happy with the shot I got and touched that you agreed with me. The photos revealed it was a female laying eggs so that's why she sat so still.
@maggiemae This is a turkey. There are thirteen others tucked away safely under her but like children there's always one who's got to take a peek. Can just hear him whispering to the others about the big eye he saw looking at him from on high.
