Centuries of flood waters swirling around my base and cyclones ripping at my branches, even pesky young strangler figs fig nesting in my aging limbs won't stop me, I simple anchor my big elephant foot more firmly to the ground, thumb my nose at adversity and raise my limbs to the sky in praise of life.
