The cattle love this wrapped silage. It has a rich molasses smell when opened. We only wrap our hay if it looks like rain coming before we have time to bale it. We've put a new cut on the ground today. No rain forecast for the next week so it will probably become baled hay later in the week after it has dried sufficiently.
My great uncles owned a dairy which was my fav place to spend summers. Every odor from there is better than expensive perfume to me thanks to the great memories.
