A pair of butcherbirds were blown in on the wind before today's rain and sheltered in the garden. It must be nesting time again. They come here each year to raise their young. They live up to their name and that dagger beak is deadly on young chickens if I have any at the time.
Nice capture, looks an attractive bird, too bad about the chickens.
It's like my cats. I love their grace and skill but can't like the results on my feeder birds.
