My Christmas was very special. My 52 year old son who had suffered a severe stroke in February was able to come home for the Christmas - New Year fortnight. Sadly he has to return to his supported living unit on the Gold Coast tomorrow.
@ludwigsdiana@koalagardens we made a goal for ourselves earlier in the recovery period to be home by Christmas. We had hoped it would be permanently but that was not to be but we have enjoyed our two weeks together again as a whole family. Lets hope it can be a permanent return home sooner than later. Our regional health services leave a lot to be desired.
