This is my view right now..the sun is setting and for some reason the beautiful blue sky caught my eye.
I won't lie my day has been tough, I have struggled for a couple of years now with my husband's health being touch and go.
Last night when we talked about our plans for this new year I asked my husband what should I do to help myself not feel so down. He immediately said I need to take more photos again.
So I planned to do another year of 365 using my new mobile phone camera and my trusty canon.
I nearly didn't get my picture today because I just didn't feel like it!
Seeing the sun setting snapped me out of my procrastination and I am so glad I took the opportunity to enjoy the moment.
Big hugs to you and Hubby. I love that he encourages you to take more photo's again. I also love the light you have captured here and I look forward to following your journey throughout 2021. It can be hard to get back into the swing of taking photos, but giving yourself the freedom to use your phone and your camera, is a great way to bring some spontaneity and freedom to your photography allowing you to just capture the moments that matter.
@kgolab thanks...yes I just need to find that place I had without feeling I have to.. rather looking for those interesting or beautiful but ordinary things around us. That's why I loved 365 in the first place. Plus I learn so much from other peoples perspectives.
A lovely photo of the beautiful sky. And so glad to hear that you will be sharing your photos with your 365 friends this year. It is such a blessing to me, especially with the current world events. I know it will bless you as well ♥
I'm so glad you are back - truly you need to do something like this that is just pure indulgence for you. Caring for the one you love through illness is not easy, you must make it sustainable.
I say this as a widow who cared for her own husband, it is important and you are incredibly creative, so it's a natural fit.
@koalagardens thanks ... yes being a carer is very difficult and has been made more difficult with covid restrictions! I have nearly lost my husband several times in the past few months it's such a rollercoaster. I have to keep my focus on positive things to stay strong. watching him loose his quality of life is the hardest thing at the moment :(
